The coding rules for drug administration are complex, and it’s easy to make errors. This session is designed to help you make sense of the rules and apply them correctly. Using coding examples, participants will gain an understanding of coding and billing drug and biological administration services by understanding how the hierarchy or reason for encounter establishes the initial code. This includes understanding how to code for sequential, concurrent, IV push, injections, and hydration during the same encounter. You will also gain an appreciation for the importance of accurate HPCPS coding to include drug units, waste and required modifiers.
The session will cover the following topics, and more:
This seminar is ideal for anyone involved in coding or responsible for charge capture in a cancer center, infusion center or hospital-based infusion therapy department.
The session will cover the following topics, and more:
- Authoritative guidance and coding resources
- Understanding differences between chemotherapy and therapeutic administrations and when to use them
- Billing for new or unclassified drugs and biologicals
- Understanding when drug waste is billable and how to report it
- Real-life examples of infusion encounters including chemotherapy, therapeutic drugs, and hydration

Introduction to Interventional Radiology Procedure Coding
Registration opens March 16!
Early bird (on or before May 29, 2026) $670.00
After May 29 $770.00
After May 29 $770.00
This introductory session is designed to provide coding and billing professionals with a practical overview of interventional radiology services commonly performed in 2026. The course will begin with foundational concepts such as catheterization and diagnostic angiography, helping attendees understand when and how these services are reported. From there, the speakers will introduce key procedural categories including non-head/neck embolization, dialysis access interventions, ablations, and frequently performed nonvascular procedures such as biopsies and aspirations. Emphasis will be placed on recognizing common coding pitfalls, understanding basic code selection, and identifying services that are often billed incorrectly or denied by third‑party payers.
This session is suitable for coding and billing professionals working in organizations (free-standing or outpatient) that perform interventional services.

Radiation Oncology Coding & Billing Essentials
Registration opens on March 16!
Early bird (on or before May 29, 2026) $670.00
After May 29 $770.00
Major changes to radiation oncology coding and payment policies took effect on January 1, 2026 - and they directly impact how you code and bill for radiation oncology services and ultimately how your practice is reimbursed. The changes were significant and complex, and many organizations continue to struggle with correct implementation. Misinterpretation and inconsistent application can impact workflows, compliance, and financial performance, making a clear understanding of the changes essential for long‑term success. Understanding the implications will help you make informed decisions for your patients and your practice.
The seminar will focus on correct coding for external beam radiation oncology procedures to include but not limited to 2D, electron, 3D, and IMRT external beam services. Attendees will receive an overview of the process of care for the external beam treatment course including clinically relevant examples and scenarios. A review of each code will be provided along with required documentation and examples of published payer instructions.
A focus on compliance will also be provided to include a review of authoritative guidance, National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) edits, payer publications and reimbursement concepts affecting radiation oncology practices. Various resources and reference information related to radiation oncology coding and billing guidelines will be provided.
