Katie Sipes serves as Manager of Oncology eConsulting at RCCS, bringing nearly 20 years of oncology experience and a strong clinical foundation to her leadership role. After beginning her career in radiation therapy and helping launch a new cancer center early on, she developed a deep understanding of departmental operations, documentation standards, and charge capture processes. She later joined RCCS to focus on charge review and consulting, where her expertise in compliant documentation and coding quickly became an asset to clients nationwide.
Today, Katie leads a team of eConsultants, providing oversight, quality assurance, and guidance on complex client questions. She supports onboarding, ensures consistent documentation analysis across accounts, and steps in to provide PRN charge capture support when clients face staffing gaps. Her ability to adapt to evolving rules, EMR systems, and workflow challenges allows her to help departments strengthen compliance while maintaining operational efficiency.
